Description

A rather chubby merchant who is loyal only to his own cause. He usually spends his time on the Market Square or travelling around the Valley trying to make a buck, until he met Hitori who he fell in love with instantly. It took him a while to finally realize that she didn't want anything to do with him and his "generosity". When he finally saw her again he was captured by the Sendo Tribe after the Mikomi transported back to the Mikomi village via Baku's ability.

In captivity he met Alika, a girl who Tebok said, was his daughter...

Chapter 1: Endless Rain

Chounin comes to the Mikomi Village and falls in love with Hitori and sells a vast amount of merchendise to her at an uncharicteristally low prize. When Chounin reveals he wants to marry Hitori it makes Hitori punch Chounin in the face.

Chapter 2: Myth or Legend?

0202	Chounin, a tribe-less merchant, makes a stop at Nagata and Zesshou’s camp. He offers a map that would lead to “the Hikari Crystal”. When checking to see if Nagata’s army has enough pesocs to buy the map, they find out Hitori is missing.	Part 46
0203	Serenity Soulheart leaves Nagata’s and Zesshou’s group because she feels guilty for what happened to Hitori, only to be captured by Chounin who intends to sell her.	Part 49 & 50
0203	Nagata’s group doesn’t have enough money to buy the map from Chounin. Chounin offers them information for 70 pesocs, but in the end Nagata and his team can’t use that information. They agree that Chounin should return in a week (day 0210), because then they will be able to buy the map. Chounin leaves.	Part 49 & 50
0203	Chounin and Hitori bump into eachother. Hitori quickly walks past him in the direction of the Chi Tribe.	Part 50

Chapter 3: The Passage of the Rainbow

0205	Chounin sells Siren on the Market Square to two Sendo soldiers. Zesshou sees this and jumps Chounin.	Part 54
0206	Zesshou, Siren and the two guards follow Lana and Kino until they are met with both Tebok’s army and Hitori’s party. Soon after Moyasu and Chounin arrive as well. Chounin starts to ask who the highest bidder on his Hikari Crystal treasure map is.	Part 61
0206	As a price for Chounin’s treasure map, Chounin asks Hitori out on a date. Hitori declines, of course.	Part 62
0206	Baku and Lana seem practically unaffected by the timestop. Baku frees himself from his chains. Lana tries to break Hitori’s neck. Hermi interrupts and Lana threatens to kill him because Hermi was the one to tell Afrain she was pregnant. Baku transports the Mikomi, Mariko, Siren, Moyasu and Sasaeru to the Mikomi village. The timestops discontinues when Afrain, Kyrlian and Hermi return to The Clouds before the Sun.	Part 63
0206	Lana takes Chounin and Tebok and some soldiers to check out if Chounin’s map was accurate.	Part 64
0207	Thanks to Chounin’s map Lana finds the Light of the Soul in the South-Eastern Cavern. She asks Chounin to hold it, otherwise it could turn dark.	Part 67
0208	Lana finds out that she can touch the Hikari Crystals. She plans on taking Chounin and Mariko's Father to the Mikomi village to trade them for the Hikari Crystals.	Part 70
0208	Lana is fixated on the Light of the Soul but is very close to Mikomi Village and will arrive on 0209.	Part 72
0208	Afraid Lana's plan to trade the remaining Hikari Crystals for Chounin, Tebok decides to use a backup plan. Tebok gets Alika and claims that they couldn't save her mother and that her father, who he tells her is Chounin, is now gone beserk because of the evil witch Hitori's spell.	Part 73
0209	Tebok continues to lie to Alika while she thinks Chounin is her father. Out of curiosity she goes to see him.	Part 76
0209	Alika reaches Chounin who she thinks is her father. Chounin however doesn't want to alarm the guards or other Sendo so he turns his back to the innocent girl. Alika thinks that the curse Hitori supposedly made over Chounin is really strong and becomes sad, but also happy to have defied the Mikomi Tribe	Part 79
0210	Alika and Nagata find the Sendo camp. Nagata realizes that it was Alika that stole the Hikari Crystals back in Part 75. Alika realizes that Nagata is on Hitori's side and calls Tebok for help. Nagata sees the cage Chounin is in and frees him.	Part 85
0210	Chounin sees Mariko's Father in another cage. He doesn't recognize him, but frees him. Chounin staggers into the woods.	Part 85
